Для изучения GNS3 - отличный выбор, но если хочется пощупать живую железку - примерный список внизу,обойдется в разумные деньги, если брать б/у и на авито например и брать не первое попавшееся предложение, а искать подешевле и не бояться прикладывать руки к тому что купил.
Например мой коммутатор - шикарен, но был взять за копейки (10к руб.) со сдохшим пропеллером. Зато позволил поэксперементировать с OpenFlow, чего ни один эмулятор не умеет.
Подбор совместимой памяти, флешек - тоже весело, но при должном терпении и изучении - все получится
